The fact that we, as humans live longer is not just because of our health, there are a lot of technologies out there that certainly do protect us and whenever we are in our cars, the technology that is packed into the vehicles is amazing.  That is what we are going to talk about, some of the best technologies in safety and what exactly is out there for you to use.

One new technology that seems to be going around and people are constantly looking to add in is tire-pressure monitoring.  The reason for this is because whenever you blow a tire, you can actually get into a car accident and that alone is not safe at all.

What the tire-pressure monitoring system is, is a series of sensors on the wheels that actually allow you to see when your tires are losing pressure.

One thing that I love about cars is that there are so many different things that you can do to them to truly make them full of your personality.  You can change the color, the style and overall, the beauty of the car so that it matches in with your personality and just screams you and that is exactly what modifying your car is all about.

Modified cars – while they are expensive, they are certainly worth it if you are looking for a fantastic car that is not only cool on the outside but on the inside as well.  You want unique and different?  Well, that is what modified cars are all about.

You can change the bumpers as well as the interior and of course the exterior – you can add on a print onto the car or even something scrolled up the side.

We all know that Toyota is one of the top automakers in the world and that they are certainly leading the way in hybrids however did you know that the brand new Toyota Auris HSD Full Hybrid Concept is actually one car that is going to be entirely European built?

Toyota is one of those companies that usually have their work done in Japan as well as the US but the Toyota Auris HSD Full Hybrid Concept will be the first European built car.

The cool thing about that is that the Toyota Auris HSD Full Hybrid Concept will actually be on sale in Europe this summer, so they will not have to wait for it!

I remember when Nissan was just a small, small company that only produced small and compact cars.  Nowadays, Nissan has branched out quite a bit and have come out with some beautiful and awesome looking cars – and hybrids.  This includes the brand new 2010 Nissan GT-R.  This particular 2010 car is not only going to be an icon, but it is a hybrid car with a ton of horsepower.

One of the coolest things about the 2010 Nissan GT-R is that not only is the brand Nissan behind it, but I can tell you that this particular car looks high-class and high-end, which is weird for me to see coming out with the Nissan name.

With the price of just about one hundred thousand dollars, the brand new 2010 Nissan GT-R could be yours!

Okay all you auto-heads out there that have just been waiting for your next fix – the brand new 2011 Lexus LFA is definitely if.  This is actually one car that it took me quite a while to wrap my entire head around, for it is by far one of the best prototypes out there.  This car has a top speed of about 202 MPH and it just looks really freakin’ cool!

This car has been described as a mystery wrapped in an enigma coated in carbon fiber and I have to say that this car is it for me.  While this car might not be a race car just yet, it is going to top the charts, just you wait.

Remember – 2011 is the year for the cars, all sorts of different and unique cars and the 2011 Lexus LFA is just one of them!

While the US market is not going to be able to see this particular car … I have to say that down in Frankfurt this week, the fan base for the 2010 Audi A5 Sportback is growing and growing.  The reaction is extremely positive and who knows – by the end of the day, we might be able to get the 2010 Audi A5 Sportback shipped on over to the US!

The 2010 Audi A5 Sportback is so beautiful on its own and I have to say that I love everything from the front grille all the way to the back.  The wheels are absolutely incredible, the headlights are fantastic and I have to say that the bumper kit they put on is awesome!

So if you are looking for the 2010 Audi A5 Sportback, you  might have to go overseas, but I have to say that it is probably worth it!

When you think about it – what is going to happen when there are no more gas stations and everyone is just going to have to deal with electric cars?  This is something that I have thought about for a while now and honestly, Coulomb Technologies is one company that is trying to get in on the electric sales by really not selling electricity – but by selling it.  What is going to happen in the future is that there will be charging stations instead of gas stations.

Now to me, this is something that is different – weird and totally not cool, but let’s say that you are out to eat … you can leave your car in one of these charging stations and pay a set rate, like $2.00 and you can charge for just a 30-minute top off, or you can charge you car fully during dinner or a movie.

To me – it’s clever but I am not a fan for someone charging us for something else in the world – we are already in a recession, do we really need to be charged for anything more?

If there is one thing that I have noticed about the Sabaru brand it is the fact that they truly have become a brand for people to respect.  This Japanese car brand is not only one that produces a heck of a good SUV, but it is a brand that is going to last for quite a long time … while most people actually think that this particular brand is not all that good …. I think it rocks!

The coolest thing that I think about the 2010 Subaru Outback is the inside.  The steering wheel looks awesome, the overall design of the inside is beautiful and it has to be said that the design is pretty cutting edge.  There are a lot of things that have been upgraded on the 2010 Subaru Outback and you should check them out – it is cool.

If there is one thing that I know about this day and age, it is going to be the fact that hybrid cars are hot. With the environment becoming the way that it is right now, people are constantly looking for a way to help it and cut down on their own costs … such as gas.  That is one of the main reasons why the 2010 Lexus HS 250h Hybrid is such a hot car!  This beautiful car is honestly one car that I really and truly love.

The 2010 Lexus HS 250h Hybrid when you get behind the wheel could be a little stiff, however once you get used to the handling, it is definitely a car that you want to drive.  The inside however did shrink in size it seems, this luxury car is slightly narrow, however it is still one of the most comfortable cars that I have ever been in.

I encourage you to check the 2010 Lexus HS 250h Hybrid out for yourself – that way you can really judge how well that you like it!

The Ford Company is one of the big three that I think is going to outlive everything.  While personally, I am not a fan of Ford cars, I think that the Ford family is an all-American family and I think that they try their hardest to keep up with the demands for technology as they are from an age of no technology.

However, the new Ford 2011 Kuga is going to be one of the leading cars on the market I think.  It is going to be three-doors, which I think is pretty cool and while the BMW X6 is the competition, the Ford 2011 Kuga is going to have a much lower price.

The cool thing about the Ford 2011 Kuga is what is under the hood.  With a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine capacity of up to 178 hp, dual clutch transmission with Powershift and a full drive this car is going to blow everyone out of the water, which I think is the entire point actually!
